Social initiatives

Pavitra Project

Project Pavitra is aimed at enabling women in the society to become change agents. The vision of the project is to empower girls and women with knowledge and awareness on menstrual health and hygiene.

A positive attitude towards menstruation and menstrual practices needs to be inculcated in the girl child at the onset of menarche. To ensure this, it is important to make menstrual hygiene a part of health education for the girl child.

Bal Chetna

Bal Chetna Shibir is a free dynamic program for the less privileged children of society that aims to empower children and help them rise to their full potential, by way of interactive games, group discussions, creative assignments and stress elimination techniques like breathing, pranayam and meditation.

Blood Donation Camps

Blood donation is supreme service to humanity and it saves precious life.

Nearly 4 crore units of blood are required in India, but only 40 lakh units (1%) are actually available. More than 38,000 blood donations are needed per day in order to balance this deficit.

Voting Awareness Drive

The Art of Living tied up with the Election Commission (EC) and other government authorities to raise citizen’s awareness about the importance of voting in a democracy and to accelerate voter-registration.

The campaign enabled and assisted the common voter to get their voter’s identity card, and also empowered ordinary people from different walks of life around the country to volunteer and help others get their cards.
